About Us

Salvatori's Authentic Italian Eatery was founded in 2006 by Sam and Angelina Leto. It was named after, and is a tribute to Sam's late father Salvatori.

They started the restaurant with a dream and a notebook of old family recipes. Over the years, their passion for good food, outstanding service, and great friends has built a thriving restaurant. Still, more often than not, you'll find Sam in the kitchen preparing your meal to perfection.

In the mid 1960s, Sam's family opened the first Italian restaurant in Fort Wayne, Indiana - "Leto's Pizza." Sam's father worked there as a teenager and learned the family recipes. Those recipes were passed down to Sam who now shares them with your family.

The entire staff of Salvatori's prides themselves on providing each and every guest with the best that we have to offer. It is our goal to serve delicious, affordable Italian food in a clean, casual environment.
